247 FOOTBALL RECRUITING RANKINGS

247 Sports football recruit rankings now have their Top 2020 football recruits available and many unranked in their position categories. These players that are ranked have received offers and/or have obtained major interest from FBS college football programs, as 247 and other networks basically use the college coaches evaluations to determine their recruit rankings. When you study the college football recruiting maps, the players receiving the most attention come from many of the same regions that are recruited heavily year in and year out in College Football Today. We are not saying that most of the players on these rankings are not very legit college football recruits, as the Class of 2020 is by far one of the most impressive we have seen in the last four recruiting classes we have evaluated at Scout Trout Elite LLC.

How To Become A Top FB Recruit

CFB SIGNING DAY 2019

If you do not sign on CFB signing day 2019 there will still be many college football scholarship opportunities available for the 2019 CFB recruiting class and players should remember that quitters are not the best football players in College Football Today. We have seen at least five former 2018 All-American recruits ink letters of intents in the 2019 CFB recruiting class, as they refused to quit chasing their dreams of playing college football. With the way the college football system is set up today, you can always start out at lower level college football institution and play your way to a FBS program or dominate at the level you are at and prove your naysayers wrong in the NFL Draft. We encourage players to not let the national media hype go to their head if they are a top recruit and for players still looking for offers, to not let their dreams die, as the James Harrison's are coming earlier than expected in the world of College Football Today.

1. Offered Early - NCAA Rules prohibit most contact between college "coaches", but you can always attend a college camp that is instructed by those coaches and/or start becoming a "nationally ranked" collegiate prospect by attending such available events. Most networks will claim that offers do not play a factor in their overall rating
2. Mostly all of the athletes have very good to high academics. Most athletes also have already taken the ACT/SAT going into their 2019 Senior seasons. 
3. Most athletes have flashy media highlight videos that date back to their youth football playing days. They also have attended credible camps and have posted combine numbers (good or bad) available for recruiters to check out. 
4. Most of the extremely highly rated athletes come from high school football programs that are highly publicized in the national media in the four football states that produced over half of the nations recruits on average the past 5 years. (GA/TX/FL/CA) They also have newly formed "Sports Academies" that cater to being a top rated recruit on major media sources. 
5. Recruit Name Recognition - Any relation to former NFL/D1 athlete. Playing in an  All-American game like Under Armor, Polynesian Bowl, Hall of Fame All-American game or the College Football Today All-American Bowl (2nd most visited page on website at 20,000 views a month). All-State, All-Conference or any notable off-season all-star team that is listed online. 
6. Now your fate is decided by Tom Luginbill of ESPN, as he "culls from three to four games and is comprised of REALLY GOOD PLAYS, REALLY POOR PLAYS and MEDIOCRE PLAYS." 
7. At Rivals, you better go to a "3 Stripe camp" or whatever they call it nowadays, as they treat the combine as if these young men are heading to the National Football League. You will then be graded using a wacky system of points to where you fall "among your peers", which by the looks of things is a very limited selection of so-called "Top Recruits". 
8. You can submit your info to 247 sports, but as you will read, you must already have major recruiting interest and/or actual offers. They like you to include this in the email to them as seen by clicking HERE. Their email is recruiting@247sports.com. 99% of the time, your success rate will be determined on your "recruiting interest". 
9. Now that you have all of this media attention, they will give you your grade and add stars based on how many more offers you attain. These groups are often made up from a collection of "Team staff writers", former High School Football players and Tom Luginbill, whom, I found out, am actually Facebook friends with. 
10. Always beware of NCAA rules and regulations, as Ohio State had to reportedly cease recruiting a "5-Star" prospect, as ESPN's COLLEGE GAME-DAY broke NCAA violations by having a prospect on the show on his official visit to THE OHIO STATE.​​

2019 CFB recruiting still will be going on all the way into college football training camp as spots will be filled on teams rosters of players they did not obtain in the recruiting process. Many late recruits we found like Lane Dreher of Grapeland HS,TX fit the mold of a top college football recruit and are certainly worth checking out at the FBS level. These players have all been offered or will be offered at the FCS, D2, D3, NAIA & Junior College football levels, who will giving out offers all the way up until 2019 college football training camp. With spring football quickly approaching college football teams will begin to identify what else will be needed after the 2019 national signing day and we encourage them to check out some of the unsigned stars at Scout Trout Elite LLC.
