We stopped by the former home of Baker Mayfield, who had a stand out rookie season with the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League. Kyler Murray is projected to go number one overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, just as Baker did in the 2018 NFL Draft. If we look at the production of both players, this should be a very sound pick for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft and they should be able to acquire more intricate pieces needed through a trade of Josh Rosen heading into 2019 NFC West play. TEXAS A & M AGGIES SPRING FOOTBALL
College Football Today stops by Texas A & M Aggies spring football to see what's been going on in College Station,Texas.
With the Texas A & M football spring game coming up on April 13th, Coach Trout and Coach Cruz decided to stop by the home of the 12th man at Kyle Field to see what all the hype was about in Aggie land heading into the 2019 college football season. We also were able to gain a new insider in College Station, who is being added to our College Football Today insiders team in Michelle Miller, who was able to provide in depth knowledge of the Texas A & M football team and even had some insiders news to provide us on her favorite coach in all of College Football Today.
TAMU spring football is off to a fantastic start according to our new Aggies insider and with the likes of Jimbo Fisher in town, who boasts a 92-27 record as an NCAA head football coach, what else would you expect? With TAMU being able to average 36 points per game last season, producing enough offense was not the issue for the Aggies. 2019 NFL Draft RB prospect Trayveon Williams accounted for over 2,000 yards of TAMU's offense in 2018 and NFL Draft TE prospect Jace Sternberger had over 800 yards receiving through the air. The Aggies will look to third year junior quarterback Kellen Mond to step up and deliver in the clutch in the highly competitive SEC football conference this season, as he is closing in on 5,000 yards passing as a TAMU Aggie. College Football Today stopped by Texas Tech spring football to check out the facilities and see what all Matt Wells has brewing up in Lubbock for the 2019 Big 12 college football season. With Coach Kliff Kingsbury now with the Arizona Cardinals after parting ways with Texas Tech, Coach Matt Wells takes over after a outstanding season at Utah State in the Mountain West. I got to see Utah State somehow pull off a win in very bad weather at Colorado State, that ended in very dramatic fashion, as Preston Williams hauled in a game winning Hail Mary that inevitably was called back for stepping out of bounds. - CSU vs USU Recap

College Football Today stops by TCU spring football 2019 to see what's been going on in Fort Worth,Texas.
As March comes to it's conclusion, TCU Football is on the back end of their spring football practices. There is some buzz here at College Football Today in Fort Worth as they were the right fit for our top overall recruit in Daimarqua Foster, and we cannot wait to see the immediate impact he will have on the field this upcoming season for TCU Football. In the first few months of Gary Patterson’s 18th season with Horned Frogs Football he was able to make waves in his 2019 college football recruiting class, giving him some of the nations best athletes to deploy on the pitch at TCU. Texas Christian is just 1 of 6 teams to have ended their season in the top 10 at least 3 out of the last 5 years and the alumni seem to be excited of what they are seeing evolve on the Horned Frogs football team. Coach Patterson has kept his coaching changes to a minimum, as normal for TCU Football. The only change on the coaching staff was moving long time WR coach Rusty Burns into a advisor role to make room for Coach Malcolm Kelly. Which is a milestone for the transplant from U of H, who will be beginning his first collegiate coaching gig with TCU Football.

College Football Today stops by UH spring football 2019 to see what's been going on in Houston,Texas.
There is a lot of excitement here at UH football that can be attributed to the unusual circumstances that brought Dana Holgersen to Houston TX. Unusual, because over the past 7 years he took West Virginia from a non-competitive Big East college football program into the Big XII and competed at a very high level. He made it to a bowl game all but one season at West Virginia since being in the Big XII, while putting 10 players in the NFL. Coach Holgorsen and the Mountaineers actually spent all of last season ranked in the Top 25 and not even the Longhorns could boast this in 2018. But whatever, conveniently UH only won 8 games in their 2018 season making the separation from Major Applewhite easy, as Coach Holgorsen became available. Usually with a head coaching change you expect a few years of mediocre play before the coaches recruiting and philosophy really take effect. Holgersen is better than that and going into a team that is really only a couple years removed from Tom Herman’s recruits. We can expect to keep Holgersen’s winning tradition here at UH and maybe, just maybe, we can watch Dana march another team into the Big XII and compete.
