MOUNTAIN WEST 2020 COACH OF THE YEAR

The College Football Today & ESPN Plus Mountain West 2020 Coach of The Year goes to San Jose State Head Coach Brent Brennan. Coach Brennan became the Spartans Head Coach in 2017 and suffered three losing seasons in a row, but was able to lead the Spartans to an undefeated MWC season and a Mountain West Championship victory over the perennial Mountain West Conference powerhouse Boise State. 

2020 MWC FOOTBALL COACH OF THE YEAR

The College Football Today & ESPN Plus 2020 MWC football Coach of The Year Brent Brennan and the Spartans fell short in the 2020 Arizona Bowl, but hoisted their first conference championship trophy since 1991! The Spartans last conference championship was in the old Big West conference and this was their first bowl game appearance since the 2015 Cure Bowl 27 to 16 victory over Georgia State. In my opinion, Coach Brennan's outstanding coaching style and stellar smile played a major role in the Spartans success in the 2020 CFB Season, as they look to build off one of the best seasons in San Jose Spartans history!
