2020 AAC FOOTBALL COACH OF THE YEAR

The College Football Today & ESPN Plus AAC football Coach of The Year Award goes to Cincinnati Bearcats Head Coach Luke Fickell. Coach Fickell took over as the Bearcats Head Coach in 2017 and has led Cincinnati to three straight bowl appearances and boasts a 35 & 14 record during his four year tenure at the University of Cincinnati. He has been able to improve the Bearcats record every year since he took the helm in 2017 and just fell short of finishing the 2020 season undefeated against the mighty Dawgs from Georgia in the Peach Bowl. The 24 to 21 loss in the Peach Bowl to one of the best SEC teams in 2020, proved that the Bearcats were the best group of five team in the nation during the 2020 football season and Coach Fickell will once again be a top candidate for power five head coaching jobs in the world of College Football Today.
