Top 2019 QB Recruits
Grant Gunnell of St.Pius X HS (TX) was able to throw for 3632 yards (403.6YPG) and 43 touchdowns, while only throwing 5 interceptions all season long. He has thrown for 185 touchdowns in his historic career in Texas HS football and the 2019 Arizona Wildcat commit now holds the Texas all-time passing record for TD passes thrown.
Sam Howell out of Sun Valley HS (NC) shows glimpses of brilliant play in this film and outstanding overall athletics for a 2019 QB recruit. This Florida State football commit will be able to launch the Willie Taggyrt era into high gear, as Willie knows what a truly talented QB looks like as he was mentored by the legend Jim Harbaugh. Sam has 110 carries for 999 yards and 12 TD's, while he has also thrown for 2606 yards and 32 touchdowns, with only 5 interceptions.
Alabama Football Commit Taulia Tagovailoa
Taulia Tagovailoa of Thompson HS (AL) was able to throw for 3026 yards and 29 touchdowns through 9 games thus far, while only throwing 5 interceptions for the season. While he is the younger brother of Tua Tagovailoa, he brings a different dynamic to a offense with his amazing escapability in the pocket when under duress. Taulia is committed to Alabama and we really like the progression he has showed since last season, as does LSU.
TCU QB Commit
Max Duggan of Lewis Central HS (IA) was injured last season after only a few games and came back this season with one of the quickest releases I have seen in his class. Gary Patterson has a outstanding dual-threat QB coming in this young man.
Tanner Rickle of Findlay HS (OH) was able to throw for 1,755 yards and amassed 22 touchdowns (5 games), as arguably one of the best dual-threat QB recruits to ever come out of that region of the United States. Many CFB programs are waiting to see how his recruiting process plays out, as FCS coaches around the nation highly covet this 2019 QB Recruit. Tanner Rickle will be competing in Dallas,Texas as a Scout Trout All-American, after suffering a season ending injury.
Last 2019 Re-Rank will be after NFL Reese's Senior Bowl weekend
(1st week of Feb before National Signing day)
Brenden Taylor of Broome HS (SC) shows some of the most brilliant athletics as a 2019 ATH recruit and as a 2019 QB Recruit. When you flip on Brenden's highlight's, you will see what looks like the next Johnny Football, until you see him at FS or as a elite WR recruit. Taylor has the ability to change a football teams offensive dynamics immediately at the next level, as his versatility on the gridiron is pure bliss to CFB recruiters. Taylor will be playing in Dallas and was selected as to play in the South Carolina All-Star game! - Moving to 2019 ATH Recruit Rankings

Bo Nix - Auburn Commit
Dylan Morris - Washington Commit
Taisun Pommachanh out of Avon Old Farms school (CT) brings a Deshawn Watson type skill set back to the Clemson Tigers football team, as he has verified 4.54, 40 yard dash speed, along with outstanding QB play. There is not much listed this season online, as far as stats are concerned and not much new film has surfaced from his senior season. But this Clemson Tigers commit proved he is among the elite QB's in all of the land when you flip on his junior season highlights.
Hank Bachmeier out of Murrieta HS (CA) is committed to Boise State football and had yet another electrifying season in the talent rich state of California. Hank was able to throw for 3,149 yards (286.3avg) and 32 touchdowns, with 9 interceptions in total in his senior campaign. He also was able to show off his dual-threat capabilities, as he rushed for 520 yards on 93 carries and 10 touchdowns on the season. Boise State looks like they will have yet another NCAA football prolific passer heading to play on the blue turf at Boise State.
Graham Mertz - Wisconsin Football Commit
Ryan Hilinski out of Orange Lutheran HS (CA) is committed to South Carolina football and will look to bounce back from a sub-par performance against Mater Dei. He holds up to 25 offers according to Rivals.com and was able to throw for 2,641 yards and 28 touchdowns, while throwing 10 interceptions thus far in his senior campaign. Hilinski is a Pro-Style QB recruit who could be able to deliver big numbers for the gamecocks, if they offensive scheme is tailored to a pocket passing QB.
Spencer Brasch out of Higley HS (AZ) was offered and committed to Cal Football shortly after the release of our first recruit rankings. Spencer had two bad games this season, where he had a 49.6 QB rating and a 38.3 QB rating most recently on 10/26, against Williams Field HS (AZ). Spencer had a breakout season last year running the football with nearly 900 yards rushing and this season has around 500 yards on the ground with 9 touchdowns. This season Spencer has improved overall through the air with 2,934 yards on 348 passing attempts and has thrown 40 touchdowns, compared to only 8 interceptions.

How are college football recruits ranked
The Scout Trout Elite LLC S.T.E.P Algorithm is algorithmic program used to rank incoming recruits that fill out a college football evaluation. We now have over 250 algorithmic rules that correlate to being a top ranked college football recruit and then we employ our sorting algorithm to have players move up and down our recruit rankings. Players are awarded S.T.E.P points using the football recruit formula below.
STEP Rating Formula
?(R) = [COMBINE (C) + FB SKILL (B) + UPSIDE (U) + ACHIEVEMENTS (H) + RECRUIT STOCK (S) + EXPOSURE (E) + INTANGIBLES (I) + ACADEMICS (A)] / 10
CFB Recruiting Rankings for the Class of 2019 started back in May when the S.T.E.P ratings were initially formed for Scout Trout Elite student-athletes.We formed this process to not only gain exposure for the athletes we train, but get better in every capacity needed to obtain their goal of receiving a CFB scholarship. We have witnessed over 80% of NFL stars go broke as former pro/college players ourselves, who would have benefitted substantially from the mental training we our providing. The term competition breeds greatness is true, only if you know who and where your competition comes from. In order to create opportunities in the CFB recruiting world, we all must not only make choices, but take calculated risks for the betterment of the overall process. Once we figured out how 247, Rivals and ESPN ranked CFB recruits from AL.Com's John Talty, we knew with our football and tech knowledge alone, we were ready to take a chance, knowing the ridicule that would follow. Knowing everyday we must practice what we preach mentally, we chose to deflect their opinions and move forward with our new recruit rankings S.T.E.P Ratings process.
