CFB PLAYOFF RANKINGS
In our first CFB playoff rankings breakdown, we will predict what we believe the CFB playoff committee will be releasing on November 5th,2019. First we must look at who is on the 13 member CFB playoff committee and analyze their thought process, which we already did last season below.
1. Rob Mullens - Oregon Athletic Director
2. Frank Beamer - Former Head Coach of Virginia Tech 3. Paola Boivon - Professor Arizona State 4. Jeff Bower - Former Head Coach Southern Miss 5. Joe Castiglione - Athletics Director Oklahoma 6. Herb Deromedi - Former Head Coach Central Michigan 7. Ken Hatfield - Former Head Coach at 3 FBS programs 8. Chris Howard - President Robert Morris 9. Bobby Johnson - Former Head CoachVanderbilt 10. Ronnie Lott - Former All-American USC 11. Gene Smith - Athletics Director Ohio State 12. Todd Stansbury - Athletics Director Georgia Tech 13. Scott Stricklin - Director of Athletics Florida COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF
"The College Football Playoff is not an officially sanctioned championship event by the NCAA, the sport's governing body. The NCAA has never recognized an official national championship for FBS football, instead merely recognizing the decisions made any of a number of independent major championship selectors." -Wiki
A 13 member committee completes this selection process, instead of the BCS computers that used to finish the NCAA FBS Top 25. Because the Tournament only has four teams, this usually creates a cause for concern among power five programs and other less lucrative programs in smaller conferences like UCF. The fact of the matter is, anyone can claim a national title these days and we plan on crowning our champion by influencing all members of every Top 25 committee to do whats right for not only each college football program, but also each individual student-athlete who deserves a shot at the national title. CFB PLAYOFF RANKINGS WEEK 1
The CFB playoff rankings week 1 will be released after week 10 of the college football season and we expect these rankings to change with some significant match-ups ahead of us. You can view the entire college football schedule for week 10 by clicking the button below.

CFP RANKINGS 2020
The CFP rankings for 2020 at College Football Today are broken down below. We think that this will change considerably after key rivalry games and conference championships play out. The highest ranked non-power five team will be selected by the College Football Playoff committee, as well and will play in the Cotton Bowl.
By far the most impressive team this season in our opinion at College Football Today. The Buckeyes have severely broken the likes of nationally ranked Cincinnati and Wisconsin, which are their two most impressive wins thus far on the 2019 season. They even have a defensive end named Chase Young who is being talked about for Heisman Trophy consideration, as well as the emergence of Justin Fields. The test will come in their final three games of the season, as they will play Penn State, Michigan and will play for the Big Ten Championship on December 7th,2019 in Lucas Oil Stadium.
Alabama has had another great season and I can't see a reason they are not number two in the College Football Playoff rankings. They have beaten up on every opponent they have played and will face LSU after a BYE week on 11/9. Bama will have the Iron Bowl, as well as the SEC Championship to make their case for the College Football Playoff. Their back-up QB played very well in the absence of Tua and we should see him back against LSU. The Crimson-Tide have the best receiving corp in all of College Football, which is what I believe separates them from LSU.
LSU football is playing magnificently this year behind Joe Burrow and the athletes that Ed Orgeron has been able to coax into coming to play in Death Valley. They have beaten Florida and Auburn, which are now their two main staple victories on the season. The Auburn win at home by a score of 23-20 was not that impressive to me and the win against now (5-3) Texas means much less in retrospect. The Tigers let up a whopping 38 points to a struggling Vanderbilt team and as of right now, have no business being ranked number one in any poll. With all of that being said, The Tigers get to stake claim to the number one spot against Alabama and will most likely get to play in the SEC Championship. This would make the LSU Tigers a sure bet to make the College Football Playoff if they can win one of those contests.
Clemson football survived a scare against a very well coached and talented Tar Heels team, as it seems this is what the pollsters are hanging out to remove Clemson from the College Football Playoff. But, the ACC is not as weak of a conference as people think and week by week I am learning it is just a very well balanced conference from top to bottom. The Tigers are going to have to win out convincingly it appears to make the College Football Playoff, but how can you deny a undefeated team who won the National Championship the year prior?
Penn State could arguably have the best defense in the nation and will face a very good Minnesota team on 11/9. If they can handle business against an emerging team at College Football Today, we might see them be able to pounce over Clemson in the College Football Playoff. They will then face a very good Indiana team and face our number one team in the nation Ohio State on 11/23. If they can find a way to beat the Juggernaut that is The Ohio State University, we could see them as the number one team in the nation. They finish the season with the bewildered Rutgers football team and should see themselves in the Big Ten Championship game if they are able to defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Florida Gators will play the Georgia Bulldogs this weekend, who could very well leap frog the Gators into the 6th position in the College Football Playoff. If the Gators fall to Georgia, we very well could see the Bulldogs jump into their spot. But, the likes of Oregon, Oklahoma and even Baylor could make a statement to move up in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Gators only loss came to a very formidable opponent in LSU, but as you can see in the stat above, their games have all been very close in the 2019 college football season.
