2019 NFL DRAFT AMIR HALL
2019 NFL Draft QB Prospect Amir Hall had one heck of a career at Bowie State and was able to throw for 10,198 yards and 94 touchdowns in his historic NCAA football career. His average of over 325 yards per game passing the last three years of his career is bewildering given the fact he did this at the D2 football level. Yes, he had weapons, but the way he delivered the ball perfectly into tight windows on the football field and on time, is quite fun to watch out of this young gunslinger from Bowie State. (Regular season stats) Hall had 4,152 yards in total is senior season, which ranked 5th in all of college football in passing yards.
AMIR HALL BOWIE STATE
Amir Hall of Bowie State is one of the best overall 2019 NFL Draft QB prospects when you study not only his body of work, but the presence he brings to a football team. Listening to Amir Hall's NFLPA Collegiate Bowl video below, he sounds like he is fully capable of developing an even greater level of play in the National Football League. When watching Amir Hall play in the CIAA season opener with the best commentating I have heard in all of sports today, I believe Hall is capable of enormous success in pro football. At around 58 seconds into his CIAA highlights against Saint Augustine, "Amir Hall calling for the scalpel, he makes a deep incision on the Falcons defense for a 47 yard touchdown to Gilbert Lunsford". Watching how quickly Amir gets the ball out of his hand and how accurately he delivers the ball down field with precision, I to see him as somewhat of a surgeon on the gridiron. This is exactly how you want your franchise quarterback to be defined in all areas of his game and life.
2019 NFL DRAFT QB RANKINGS
2019 NFL Draft QB rankings at College Football Today were determined for FBS & FCS NFL Draft prospects and we are adding 2019 NFL Draft QB Prospect Amir Hall into the top 10 mix, as seen below.
1. Kyler Murray - Most productive player in College Football and is very mobile in the pocket with a great throwing motion to get the ball out quickly in the NFL.
2. Drew Lock - Once again, a very active Quarterback who can get the ball out quickly with a lot of zip. Elway thinks very highly of Drew Lock and has even been out to watch a game in person at Mizzou. 3. Daniel Jones - Looked very refined in the Senior Bowl and could prove to be a big time NFL QB. Whispers around the league say that the Redskins are very fond of this young man's talent. 4. Devlin Hodges - FCS Quarterback and Walter Payton Award winner after breaking Steve McNair's All-Time FCS Passing record. Really reminds me of the next Drew Brees with the way he gets the ball out of his hand and on time. 5. Dwayne Haskins - Many are very high on Dwayne Haskins and so am I, I just do not think he proved he could push the ball downfield effectively enough in his time at Ohio State. He had a magnificent Urban Meyer manufactured scheme and weapons galore to deliver the football to. He did a great job all year long at getting the ball into the playmakers hands at Ohio State, but the NFL is a different ball game when it comes to opposing defenses. 6. Jarrett Stidham - Watched Stidham at the 2019 Senior Bowl and he won the Quarterback of the week, which was voted on by the NFL scouts and coaches in attendance. He did not have a spectacular senior season, but was under constant duress in the pocket all year long at Auburn. 7. Will Grier - One of my favorite FBS quarterbacks to watch this year, but struggled at times to deliver in the clutch this season at WVU. Threw the ball as expected at the 2019 Senior Bowl and has uncanny arm strength to deliver the ball deep down field, as needed in the NFL. 8. Amir Hall - HBCU 2X Player Of The Year & Doug Williams Award winner. 9. Ryan Finley (NC State) - Has a very smooth delivery and plays the part of a NFL Quarterback very well, as he has great overall technique and footwork in the pocket. 10. Clayton Thorson (Northwestern) - Has a very quick release and gets the ball out of his hands quickly out of the gun, his very smooth delivery and over the top throwing motion are very conducive to producing consistent play moving forward. As a four year starter, Clayton has been able to create plays for the Wildcats, even when his supporting cast decides they want to take the day off. NFL COMBINE INVITES![]()
NFL combine invites have been going out and players also have been informed they were not invited due to any charges in their past for violent acts. But instead of focusing on who got disinvited, we should focus on who should be invited to the 2019 NFL combine, as Amir Hall certainly should be awarded a chance to shine in Indianapolis. The hashtag has formed #AmirHallCombineInvite as the fans and football minds worldwide see a brilliant upside to Amir Hall as an outstanding NFL Quarterback. Either way, with pro days also coming up, Amir will get another chance to show off his skill set in hopes of being drafted highly in the 2019 NFL Draft.
