There are 28 sub-categories that are used to find the average score for each of our 8 categories that are weighted by the % you see above each box above, on our main 8 major categories. Click the boxes to learn more about our algorithm that is based off of reality and not the "magical star system", that leaves players stuck in a swamp of complacency and unable to reach their full potential.
(These facts were based off over 500 sports psychology tests and watching half of the top recruits on major networks drop heavily in production)
Having played with the best recruits in my class at Hargrave Military Academy, I realized it's not all about what we do on the football field. Even though that is the main category we grade, we also look at each recruit's social media accounts, Hudls and get a idea for how the general populous feels about this recruit. We also take into consideration high academics and points are awarded for improving in these areas. This was a baseline test we ran this past spring when we introduced Collegefootballtoday.org. This is our version of 247 sports and it has–in the most humblest way–exploded through the roof with our viewership. I have read every article by SB Nation, Rivals, 247 and ESPN, and given I had stepped away from the mainstream media while building my foundation to be successful, I hadn't realized the hypocrisy that exists in sports today. Plain and simple, if you want to play on this side of football, you must have very tough skin that was developed by well, being an Arena Kicker. In all of football, this has to be the worst job on earth, but we will get to that later. The true test came with academics for me at a young age, I have been wired to run at 110MPH, as was my father David Trout did. I can't sit in an academic atmosphere for very long because of my concussion history and other personally traumatic reasons. I detached myself from almost the entire world as I have learned that their opinions are just their perspective and if our voice was going to be heard, we needed to cancel out theirs. Hence, I have now evaluated more than 22,000 recruits from class of 2019 to the class of 2025, in order to complete our rankings. This was one of the final projects, and we are nearly done putting the final shingles on a very sturdy and well built house. Do we like to add editions and build vacation homes? That is the next phase and I have learned not to release my plans until they are near completion. Why? Because somebody with a lot more resources and no football mind will attempt to copy my work.
2019 Top QB Recruit Rankings2019 QB Recruits Brenden Taylor & Tanner Rickle have very unique skill-sets
Honestly, as I look at this list, you can win with any of these guys at the next level. That being said, after having extensively researching the ELITE 11 and other networks, that the names we have that are not on those lists are equivalent in talent or better overall. Obviously, the first thing I study is a QB recruits throwing motion and how long it takes him to get the football out of his hand once he makes his decision. I also evaluate basic QB fundamentals, like being able to get through a 1-5 progression and find your check-down receiver, while under duress. How well does a QB recruit bounce back after throwing a interception, as sometimes the ball just hit the receiver perfectly in the hands and suddenly was up in the air for the defense. We take these plays into consideration when looking at stats, as football has many unknown variables that must be accounted for when determining a QB recruits overall outlook at the next level. You will also notice that we do not use HT/WT in our algorithm, because as a believer in "late bloomers" like James Harrisson, you can always progress differently once you are able to "flip your focus" on bettering yourself and finding the your unique daily process.
2019 QB Recruit Tanner Rickle has the best throwing motion in the nation & is partly why he accumulated 1,755 yards and 22 TD's in 5 games
I hear the word "special" thrown around a lot about recruits and to me there is none more special then Tanner Rickle in the Class of 2019. His on the field work, does not reflect who he is inside, as we have been able to see a very clear picture on what we think is going to be one of the best college QB's ever, at whatever level of football he plays at. Being from a small school in a under recruited area is not a easy thing to deal with in College Football Today. Most of these guys wind up going to lower levels and then we see them on Sunday's, as they have the intestinal fortitude to withstand the animosity a top level football player can have dealt to him. They develop thick skin and are able to compete at a level that is unattainable to the "so-called" top recruits in the nation. We began down this road because we want to see young man like Tanner Rickle, who graded out as the TOP overall football player in (B) play at the level he deserves. This was also stated in some letters from IVY league programs and I could see Tanner being another Ryan Fitzpatrick with his immaculate ability to throw his receiver open to a spot. The timing I watch Tanner throw with is second to none and I see the same motion in the best QB's ever to play this game at the highest levels. Fans, coaches, friend and even God, have told me that these Stars are not real and never have been. It was a easy way to get clicks, by finding out who has offered who and then they made a algorithm based off computer generated data that does nothing but confuse even God. Having operated for the past 3 recruiting classes, I realized if the guy I think is the best, is not on these major networks, well, good luck and good ridden because when it all boils down, College Football Today is a business. This is why most recruits do not understand how they can dominate and hear nothing at all from a D1 program. Well, I have probably a novel written about this young man on ScoutTrout.com and the link provided links to his QB database profile, enjoy the show. By the way, this is nothing compared to the NCSA scam, millions fall for every year. They contract with school's who need players. There en-lies the difference in what is real and what is fake, as you were not wanted, but needed to fill a roster.
2019 Top QB Recruit Tanner Rickle featured on Oregon 247Top 2019 QB/ATH Brenden Taylor defines what it means to be a versatile fb recruit - we could see him on the Paul Hornung watch-list one day soon!Top 300 QB Recruit James Pearson & The Hardee Wildcats have now moved to 8-0.
Some of my Quarterbacks just need to fix a few things here or there, but not James Pearson, technically speaking he is one of the most refined passers you will watch on tape. I have been in Pearson's corner since his electric sophomore year and then when he did not get to play much his junior season. Of course I was shocked that what Georgia Tech and I saw one of the top Dual-Threat QB's not starting, we began to ask why? Well, we are not going to get into detail, as I post most of these issues on social media, but whoever his coach was, simply did not want Pearson to attain the super star status that he has the potential to grasp. Well, Mr. Pearson made a very wise decision and moved James to Hardee HS, FL and they beat his former team this season. But did this young man do what 99% of young men that are considered TOP recruits do today and taunt his former opponent, as they obviously took things personally. The answer will always be no, because James knows what he is working with talent wise and has also been taught to respect others, whether he wants to or not. If you can bench a kid like this, that is now nationally acclaimed, you are the issue and need to be removed from dealing with student-athletes, in my sports psychology opinion. Having studied child psychology, sadly there are still bitter high school coaches out there who have the same mental capacity as a child. You want to win games, make every person on your team better, like I am seeing James Pearson do and my other Elite QB's do everyday. I do not have another job, I realized this was going to take as much time, energy and effort as James Pearson has put in, and I am glad I was right.
This was my Introduction To The Best Football Rating System Ever Created - We will be in Lincoln,NE For the Huskers Game with some old friends from the Nebraska Danger!
Special thanks to Joe Mazour for supporting me as an athlete and always making me realize how good I really was. #SupperKicker - need more fans like the Cornhusker Nation!
We will be going through the 2019 Top 300 and position groups and explaining mostly all of the Top 300 recruits, as we move closer to national signing day.
We will continue to refine our algorithm with individuals who have valid input, as this must be perfected over and over again. We will be using a slightly different version for 2019 NFL Draft Prospects. and holding regional camps/combines with Scout Trout Elite LLC to help recruits achieve better overall S.T.E.P Ratings, such as teaching the Scout Trout perfect 40 yard dash start and other combine techniques that top performers in the NFL Draft use. Jimmy Bates actually pointed that out to me after he ran a 4.47,40 yard dash 3 times on tape.
Any attempts to replicate the S.T.E.P ratings algorithm in ANY form or fashion will be dealt with swiftly by our attorneys.

The Year Of The Hirschi Huskies
I wrote a article not that long back that helped many understand how Coach Youngs and the individuals at Hirschi High School were able to go from a 0-10 football team to one of the top 4A teams in the State of Texas. As of right now, I have thousands of stories to right about, but I cannot find one better in the world of football, than the Hirschi Huskies Football team. With players like the Trench Monster Lloyd Murray, Daimarqua Foster, Johnny Taylor, Nate Downing and many others playing together since they were toddlers, it comes as no surprise how closely knit this Husky unit has become. I was able to screenshot the Huskies' schedule back to 2014, when the Coach Youngs era began. I did not know the Huskies at this time, as I was introduced to them the summer after their laughable 0-10 season. I say this because I felt the disdain towards the Huskies when I arrived in Wichita Falls from day one, as I did for my own career.
Hirschi Huskies laid the foundation of the Pipeline Program and we will always be on your side2019 Top Recruits Mix-Tape Featuring Lloyd Murray Jr and Daimarqua Foster
I chose the Lil Scrappy beat, as it reminded me of how Murray Jr, Foster & Husky Nation are bringing the noise!
Setting The Foundation is not easy when everyone around you wants you to fail
The Huskies were not talked about much as anything but the 3rd best team in Wichita Falls, TX when I ran a camp with the company I started my pipeline program with in Athletic Reform. We were able to secure a high school field at City View and had a good amount of prospects come from all over the state, including Joel Barbosa, Ca'maurie Johnson, Deven Smith, Willie Cherry, Gerrick Mckinney and many other athletes that began their recruitment to college programs soon after. All these guys talked about was the loaded JV team and how Coach Youngs should have done this or should have done that. Knowing the stigma and racism that I had witnessed first hand in the Wichita Falls Nighthawks organization, I understood where their mindset was and it needed to be changed. When you have to deal with being the laughing stock of the town, you must work to find solutions to normally just be a respectable opponent at this level. The X's and O's are obsolete at this juncture and it now comes down to building each individual in your unit and I believe Coach Youngs is a master at this concept. After Coach started to realize the foundation he helped pave, he started to throw up the framework with leaders like Martez Vrana, Roman Turner, Sean Palmer, Edgar Ramirez and many other outstanding student-athletes.
Leaders start to be bred under the tutelage of Coach Youngs
Lloyd Murray arguably had the best sophomore year you will ever witness in the trenches on tape and through the pipeline program network, along with the help of Coach Youngs, Murray earned an offer to TCU. I believe his class of 2021 brother Chris Murray will be heading down the same path, but Lloyd paved the way for an enormous spotlight that was about to enter the Husky Kingdom. 6-5 is okay and much better then 0-10, but even non nationally acclaimed athletes were getting mail from FCS/D2 and NAIA/JUCO programs across the nation. This did what all of our leaders have promised to do the past century first established hope in each student-athlete that their was life outside of the extremely culturally divided Wichita Falls and that they might just be able to have a normal life or what I like to call, "A Fighting Chance". Society today has forgotten how to build leaders and if I can learn through my process from these young men, coaches and program, you can too.
Texas State Records Shattered By Daimarqua Foster & The Hirschi Huskies
It was downright bewildering to watch defenses try and match up with the Huskies last season and all of their hard work started to compile with masses amounts of success. Still only one offer from SMU for Foster, after rushing for over 4,000 yards in a season and over 50 touchdowns, but nobody on this team let minimal distractions like that bother them. They have a job to do and formed a pact as kids, that they will make it. I am friends with mostly all of them on social media and even get to watch the internet sensation Lee Beatty perform, from time to time. It's always been about more than a game to me, its been about doing the right thing for those who deserve a fighting chance to reach for everything they dreamed of as little boys. Now being a part of that pact that was made, we have no choice but to press harder on the gas pedal, as the only way to the top is through continuing your dominance of your own mental process. No matter the outcome of this season or years prior, are you going to dwell on past successes, offers and acclaim? Or are you going to take it to an even higher level and make the many haters wallow in the mud, as the pigs they are? One little hiccup this year against a 6A team does not define who the Huskies are and it will not determine your final outcome. Stop saying if, and start that path to the Texas 4A championship today, by saying when! We are too often told not to look ahead and foresee the future, but if you are closely connected to your creator and have the faith to start believing in your own abilities, you will begin to rapidly unlock your teams and individual futures.
It takes a village of elite huskies to raise warriors
I applaud the Hirschi Husky parents, staff and school for supporting these young men the way that you have. The old African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child", certainly can be relayed to this situation. Only you are are resilient to matters that do not exist in a African village. Each of you have been influential in your student-athletes growth on and off the field, as the academics have soared since I began to test the waters of this program on a national scale. Remember what got you here and remember you can only now beat yourselves moving forward. God Bless you all and I will see you very soon. - Coach Trout.
Our goal should be to make our next generation stronger than the last. It starts with setting the example as adults, daily. Keep up the great work Husky Nation! The Opening
Every year I hear that so-and-so got a full scholarship to [insert team here] for four years and everything is paid for. Knowing how these "full-rides" are calculated, many times the football program winds up paying for a considerably small percentage of the "athletic scholarship" money to obtain that student-athlete's services in exchange for a free education for four years. For example, when I transferred from a D2 to a D1 football program, I had to sit out a full year before I could become eligible, per NCAA transfer rules. I then was considered an "independent", as I was 19 years old and not under my parents roof. I was able to get my total cost down to $780, which included books and other school expenses. Well, how is it that the cost to attend was 28,000 roughly, per year and by claiming I was a broke 19 year old (independent), I was eligible for substantial financial aid from our United States Government? Let's go over how you can get this number down before any football money is awarded, as well.
Cost of Attendance (COA)
How is this calculated?
College Football Players' COA
America has produced a system for everyone to be able to afford college without playing football and most athletes fail to realize that they might have other talents that could deem a financial award if they look in the right places. If you are lucky enough to play Division One FBS football, you will be awarded a full athletic scholarship and each individual institution's financial aid office will deem your cost of attendance, which is awarded on top of your scholarship. Tennessee's "COA" this year is the most in the SEC, as they will receive $5,666 allocated toward costs of attending the university.
EFC - Expected Family Contribution
Grants & Types of Grants
These are known as "FREE MONEY", when it comes to grants or scholarships, grants tend to be need-based and scholarships are based on "merit" or performance. You do not have to repay these and it is your money to pay for your schooling. These can be awarded by the federal government, your state government, your college, or a private or non-profit organization. Always read the fine print, as some of these grants have stipulations and if you do not finish school or drop out, you will have to repay all of grant money.
Federal Pell Grant - Maximum amount $6,095

Kiffin Fired by Al Davis
Yes, Lane Kiffin, if Your Fired You Don't Get Paid
Lane Kiffin is fired from the Oakland Raiders for "cause", by Raiders Owner Al Davis
Lane Kiffin was let go by Al Davis on national media for being a liar and fabricating facts to the media. Al Davis stated that Lane was after the Arkansas job and thought he still could get paid if let go as the Oakland Raiders Head Coach and take the college job he wanted. He wound up at Tennessee for a season with his father Monte Kiffin, but abruptly left for USC to become Head Coach of the Trojans after only 14 months. Lane Kiffin was fired as the USC Head Coach and said it was "the lowest point of his career" during an interview with CBS sports as he was preparing for the BCS title game in Phoenix. Those three years at Alabama were spent learning from the great Coach Saban, but as Lane Kiffin described it, not much fun. He has since taken years of failing at a high level and found success in attempting to instill a new culture in the Florida Atlantic program. So far, after a 11-3 season and an undefeated season in conference play, Kiffin has very quickly turned the Owls' program around and has them even nationally ranked in preseason polls like Sports Illustrated.

Lane Kiffin Fires His Dad Monte Kiffin
"You will be coached by the best for 3-4 years if you come to Tennessee" - states Lane Kiffin

As I go back through Lane Kiffin's infamous career, I realize that most of his so-called "slip ups" came in the media and the way Kiffin was portrayed as a ingenious play caller was simply falsified. Coach Kiffin needed his own personnel to run the scheme he wanted and when he inherited a team that didn't have the pieces he needed, he failed miserably. When Kiffin is able to recruit his own players and go after EMCC greats like Tim Bonner, who will lead the Owl's defense, which returns 10 starters off of last years team, he won historically. If there is ever a break-through year for Lane Kiffin where he can rectify his own status as an NCAA Head Coach and show that the Owls were not a one-and-done mid-major program, it is the 2018 season. I guess it is time for Lane Kiffin to keep tweeting and design his magical comeback recruit by recruit and win by win. Can this formerly boisterous coach bring Florida Atlantic to a BCS bowl? They will have to run the table and win in a dominating fashion to make it out of Conference USA, but if anyone can put Florida Atlantic on the map, it's Coach Kiffin. Either negatively or positively (as of late), there is a saying in sports that "all press, is good press". Lane Kiffin certainly brings the press to your door step, as he is the most unorthodox coach in all of college football.
