CLEMSON DRUG TEST UPDATE
The Clemson Football drug test updates is a major rising top right now across the landscape of college football today and we wanted to applaud Dexter Lawrence for being with his teammates at the Cotton Bowl. He acted like the leader and grown man that he is, while under some intense scrutiny. From what we know, these players do not hang around each other often and the drug Ostarine was found in their systems upon "random" drug testing by the NCAA.
WHAT IS OSTARINE?
The USADA's explanation can be found below on "What is Ostarine?" and how the chemical is being studied but even illegal for medical use. They go onto to further explain that there have only been 28 reported failed drug tests for this banned substance since 2015 globally.
"Ostarine is the trademarked name for a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) that is not approved for human use or consumption in the U.S., or in any other country. In recent years, WADA has reported an increasing number of positive tests involving SARMs, and athletes who use these substances most likely obtain them through black market channels.
Research has shown that SARMs like ostarine have fewer androgenic properties, meaning they have less influence on the development and balance of male hormones, including testosterone. While they are not yet approved for human use, SARMs are of interest to the medical community because they might be effective at treating different health conditions without resulting in the negative side effects of steroids. Ostarine is currently being investigated as a way to treat a variety of muscle wasting diseases, such as osteoporosis, cancer, and hypogonadism."
In a study conducted in 2013, Ostarine was found to keep muscle tone among cancer patients that were in this clinical trail. The findings are below.
"Cancer cachexia is an unmet medical need and our data suggest that use of enobosarm might lead to improvements in lean body mass, without the toxic effects associated with androgens and progestational agents."

What is the current status of SARMs on the WADA Prohibited List?
SARMs have been prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) since 2008. SARMs have the potential to be misused for performance enhancement in sport due to their anabolic properties as well as ability to stimulate androgen receptors in muscle and bone. They are currently prohibited at-all-times in the category of “other anabolic agents” under section S1.2 of the WADA Prohibited List. Some examples of SARMs are Ostarine and Andarine. via USDA
CLEMSON PLAYERS SUSPENDED FOR COTTON BOWL
Three players who have been named all over creation have failed drug tests and face suspension for the 2018 Cotton Bowl game against The Notre Dame Fighting-Irish. I believe the sincerity in Dexter Lawrence's tone at the 2018 Cotton Bowl press conference, but it is bewildering to most how this banned anabolic agent was found in three Clemson players blood streams upon random drug testing by the NCAA. It is really odd that the three players have lockers very close in proximity and could have the substance been absorbed unknowingly by these three Clemson Tiger football players? The truth remains untold thus far, as we approach the 2018 Cotton Bowl, we still are left wondering what the results are from "Sample B". How long does it take to know if the drug was in their bodies again or not? Or will they be cleared and this was just another attempt to draw up controversy before a big time College Football Playoff game? How about we focus on the outstanding match-ups in front of us and stop dwelling on substances that possibly most football players today could be taking, when I look at the trending topics at College Football Today.
DANIEL JONES 2019 NFL DRAFT
Daniel Jones 2019 NFL Draft stock just sky-rocketed as he has a epic performance in the big win in the Walk-On Independence Bowl against Temple! Jones was 30-41 on the day passing with 423 yards and 5 touchdowns! Great job Coach Cutcliffe in bringing this NFL QB prospect to a elite level of play, upon entering the 2019 NFL Draft!
Daniel Jones 6'5,220LBs - Duke
Strengths - When you are being coached by the "QB whisperer" David Cutcliffe, NFL scouts will take notice when you start to sling it like Daniel Jones. Word on the street is that he will be back for 2019, as he has suffered some injuries the past two seasons. Cutcliffe's coaching extends all the way to the Manning's and you can see many similarities in Daniel's play, as he has a wicked quick release. Once he makes his mind up, the football is seen traveling from point A to B with great overall velocity.
Weaknesses - As I stated above, staying healthy, because as you will see against Virginia Tech, Jones's probably has the best football in all of college football. On the very first play, you will witness how to properly avoid pressure to step up in the pocket and deliver a missile to his receiver.
