COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY
The process that is being developed in the world of College Football Today shouldn't be a surprise in the current social climate in the United States of America. It takes real men to stand up against what has been created in our society today and only those who are able to completely flip their focus, can withstand the many storms that have come upon us. If you haven't noticed, football is quite a diverse selection of human beings and they are ultimately striving to reach the same individual goals. Those who are able create a positive change through a devastating storm will surpass many in the coming future, as God honors those who abide by his commandments. This article has little to do with football and more to do with the privilege God bestowed upon us to enact his grace, mercy and compassion towards other human beings. When I finally got on Twitter today, I was expecting a massive wave of destruction, but instead I found hope. Tony Dungy is leader of men and I have never developed more respect for an individual throughout my daily process of individual growth. Let's just say when Tony talks or Tweets, I am all ears, as the man is the epitome of what I want to become as a man.
RACIAL INEQUALITY
I learned about racial inequality from the Stillmatic CD released by NAS, who was my favorite artist as a child growing up in South Jersey. When it came to his lyrics, they actually met something and stuck in my head forever. I blame him also for helping me develop my competitive nature against much larger competition (Ether). In the song "What Goes Around", Nas talks more about how America formed as a nation, through much hate, devastation and what some call conquering. It also helped derive the true meaning of capitalism, as many human lives were manipulated and or taken away from them. Nas is actually speaking from a Biblical stand-point about the entirety of the situation, as Galatians chapter 6 speaks volumes into our everyday lives.
GALATIANS 6
Galatians chapter 6 can be found below at College Football Today.
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."
Jeremiah 17:9
Many will point out a million verses to make you feel like you are not fully capable in God's of eyes of creating the world you want to live in. I like to study the Why's, as sometimes they can be overwhelming and incomprehensible, until you are able to jump into the right rabbit hole of higher education. The Bible states in Jeremiah 17:9 that the human heart is deceitful above all things and we must acknowledge that all men have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). In Luke chapter 6:37, the Bible states: Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." I mean, no matter how you feel about "Religion", as I don't have on either, you can't discredit the BIBLE and sources we could use to GET BETTER in a HURRY!
POLICE BRUTALITY
When addressing police brutality, we need to start during the hiring process and use psychological studies to learn more about who is being placed in a authoritative position to protect and serve our communities. The many advancements in psychology will help us identify who is joining the force for POWER over another human being or if they truly want to protect and serve the United States of America. I know many great police officers like Tony Leone, who had a major impact in my life and taught me the basic principals through "Young Life" on how to be a man. We need more men like Tony and less like we are witnessing killing other innocent human beings.
