How to Play College Football

Every year high school football season sadly comes to an end, all of the camaraderie built with your beloved teammates will last forever, you think. As we grow older and venture off, it will become more about you and the future that you are able to bring into fruition. Your friends might claim they can help in some capacity, but 99% of the time, they think you are going places and want to tag along for the ride. These types of succubi can really hurt your attempt to go down the more productive path to success, also known as the road less traveled. Tough choices have to be made daily on who you allow in your unique circle of winning and you must identify whether their motifs, morals and goals are in tune with your unique individual quest for greatness. There will come a time when you and your high school buddies, will have to learn how to be men and go create something for themselves. Every friend I had growing up in NJ said they were going to be my agent when I got to the NFL, well, the NFL likes to pick the worst kickers on purpose come to find out, as to them it appears 6 is better then 7. So even if they were qualified with a law degree and they were able to obtain the NFL Players Association certificate, they would now face a industry that is dominated be very few sports agents like Drew Rosenhaus, who started following me on Instagram recently. I know, you think I just crushed your dream of actually living out the highly fabricated tale of HBO Ballers or having your own Entourage, but having that before you have climbed the ladder of football success is extremely detrimental to your potential overall output. Only 3% of high school student-athletes will play college football and most of them will not be on a full athletic scholarship, as the FAFSA will cover parts of student-athletes tuition and then "athletic monies" are awarded by the football department. So, technically, if you come from a low to median income family, as most of the United States top student-athletes do, which makes filling out this form very critical the summer of you're senior year. - View Eligibility 101 page

Difference Between FBS And FCS NCAA FB
While the level of play across the board is comparable, as the FCS is to be feared, this really only comes down to each universities stadium capacity. This is why you see many college teams adding additions on to their venues and/or finding state funding or private investors to build elaborately built stadiums across the landscape of NCAA Football. The other main difference is that FCS football has a very good 16 team playoff format, that makes us wonder at CFB Today, why we don't have a 8 team playoff format, which we have found a very intriguing way to bring the College Football Playoff committee to a concise and accurate conclusion. We will talk about our new CFP 8 team algorithm formula later in our unique process of defining the future of NCAA football.
fcs playoff projections
The world of College football is much larger than what most of us see on TV. The fact of the matter is, high school football is much larger outside of that. NCAA College Football Programs are allowed to have 28 National letter of intents on signing day. Doing the math, there are over 1,000,000 football players in America. There are 128 FBS programs in America that this rule applies to, and with 28 spots in each program, only 3,584 high school football players per year receive scholarships--meaning you have less then a 3% chance of playing D1 ball. This year, only around 75% of those players who signed on signing day, received a football scholarship and the rest are walking on. Even if you are the number one player on your team, there are 14,000 high school football teams in America each with one or more super star athletes. So how do you stand out from hundreds of thousands of student-athletes?
d2 football schools
Most high school coaches think the D2 level is inferior to the level of play at the FBS/FCS levels, but as NCAA academics requirements have changed, the D2 level was able to strengthen with players that had above a 2.0 GPA. Division one football not requires a 2.3 GPA and the equivalent test score on the NCAA sliding scale, which is used to determine a player's NCAA eligibility. The NFL Reese's Senior Bowl felt the impact from the D2 level, as players like Nathan Shepherd were drafted in the 3rd round by the NY Jets. NCAA D2 football can also get you a full athletic scholarship and use the system the same way as FBS & FCS programs, as when it all boils down, that final number matters for both parties involved. Setting proper recruiting budgets and eliminating unnecessary expenses is key to withhold the universities budget and monies available to match offers across the landscape of collegiate football.
JuCo Football Playoffs
The land of second chances or immediate failure, depends on how you put winning into perspective, as rings to me at this level are meaningless. Why? This is about moving players on who were either overlooked in the process, academically ineligible or had off the field issues that held them back from receiving a offer. Having played at Hargrave Military Academy with Coach Robert Prunty, I realized most of the guys there were not dumb by any means, but the education system that they came from had a locale of athletes with 5th grade reading levels upon graduation. This to me is not the student-athletes fault, as the system that we rely on to educate these young men in certain areas is piss poor at best. When you dig deeper and look into EMCC football, you will find a TV show made them popular and lovable characters like Ronald Ollie. The mistreatment of players, along with the "slave driver" mentality that Buddy Stephens used on these young men, can really damage the physique of any human being and this causes the issues you see at Rutgers University today. See, we allowed them to fail in high school in Mississippi on purpose, so that they could hoist the lowest level of college football trophies. This is my opinion, but I have over 1,000 intriguing psychological facts to back up my statements. Coaching in the manner I do, releases self-doubt, motivates and our proof will always be in our overall production on and off the field.
NAIA has different eligibility rules than their counterpart the NCAA. They award scholarships kind of like the Ivy League schools and the higher your high school GPA at the end of four years, the greater financial award they can give to student-athletes. These teams have really increased in the level of play, as they are private schools that can cater to the athletes development more intuitively when given the change. They are very good builders of men and the level of play is said to be comparable to the D2 scholarship levels, as these teams can award as much scholarship money as they see fit for any given situation.
D3 Football may award academic scholarships, but do not offer athletic scholarship. This is a league the NCAA created for players who want to have fun playing football while getting a solid education.
