Michigan Football Over LSU Football - Here is Why?
Many are starting to think Coach Harbaugh and I are close but that is probably the furthest thing from the truth. Do I admire his coaching philosophy, yes, but I also admire Brian Kelly's techniques he uses to enhance his players on and off the field at Notre Dame. Because I know what it takes to win at the highest level of play, as seen in my Pitt vs Notre Dame preview. I hate to say this, because Tebow keeps declaring that Alabama has things rigged since LSU's running back is out for targeting. Well, since we know everyone despises the GOAT, Coach Saban and his accomplishments, let's take this for what it is and check it off as more Tebow babble that does not line up with the facts written in history. Michigan is a far better football team right now than LSU and the Tigers will likely lose to Alabama, which will in turn slide them back down the polls. Michigan however, will face off against the likes of Penn State, Rutgers, Indiana and end with an epic rivalry against Ohio State. Both schedules are some of the toughest in the country and in my opinion, with the emergence of Shea Patterson and arguably the best defense in NCAA football, I believe Michigan should be a lock in the final four if they can handle business down the stretch. Numbers from Hero Sports are compared statistically below.
#8-#10 - Why Washington State and WVU Over Ohio State?
As you can see Iowa State has joined our Top 25, after beating WVU and Texas Tech in back to back weeks. Purdue, even though they are known for beating the Buckeyes breaks off consistently, and lost yesterday to Michigan State. This is turning out to be a very bad loss for Coach Meyer and will only increase his on-going headaches, as the season moves forward. Maybe is it time for the rise of Coaches like Mike Leach, after all, as the numbers are astounding that Gardner Minshew has been able to deliver. West Virginia had a slip up against a very good Iowa State team that has made their way into our CFB Today Top 25. We think we know why Will Grier had an off night and made it a point let him know we all make mistakes in life, but it's about how we can overcome those blemishes on our record and move forward without defeat.
